About KRC

Three decades of horsemanship in Kuwait

Kuwait Riding Center was established in February 1996 as the first private riding center in Kuwait. Our riding school trains over 500 riders and 120 horses. Training is spread over eight arenas, two lunging arenas, and an arena specifically used to accommodate students with special needs. Arena maintenance and sand mixing is another specialty that is provided locally and internationally. All our partnerships with international and local brands for equine welfare, nutrition and feed can be found in any of our three KRC Tack Shops. Competing both locally and internationally, the majority of our horses are showjumping horses, with several produced by KRC's own breed, as well as our Arabian horses, which compete for beauty.

In their own words

“KRC has shaped my life. I joined when I was six years old and I'm still here, riding and competing 12 years later. The club is amazing, the facilities are excellent and the members are like family. I feel blessed to be a part of Kuwait Riding Center!”

KRC Stars

Riding for children with special needs

KRC Stars is a riding club for children with special needs. It provides weekly activities to children with special needs and abilities such as Autism, Down Syndrome, Global Developmental Delay, ADHD, ADD, and learning difficulties. The instructions given within the lesson improve hand-eye coordination, attention, focus, spatial awareness, posture, balance, strength and, most importantly, provide a sense of achievement and satisfaction. Riding also develops the children emotionally and socially by interacting with horses and the amazing volunteers that surround them.
